Easter Eggs Nests

80g of Shredded Wheat (can use rice crispies but you will need to check amount)
270g bag of Hershey's Chipits
Small bag of Cadbury's mini eggs
Cupcake cases
(makes 8 - but only because we like ours fairly big)

  • Crush the Shredded Wheat into a bowl
  • Melt the chocolate on "melt" setting of stove stirring constantly with spatula (should take 1-3 mins)
  • Pour over crushed Shredded Wheat and stir until well mixed
  • Spoon mixture in to the paper cases and make a well in the middle of each 'nest'
  • Place the mini eggs into each nest (I would say 3 per nest, but as my son demonstrated - a lot more than that can fit in!)
  • Place in fridge and chill for 1-2 hours until set
